Krupp-Ardelt Waffenträger 88mm PAK-43 : part 3 - Camo base painting

For this Paper Panzer I've tried to paint a new camo never seen in the historic background as we are in "what if" situation. I've imaginated an experimental urban camo with squared pattern of sand yellow and old panzer grey painted on the red oxide primer. Why not ?

Well the result is not so bad but I don't like it ! So I decided to remove all the paint and add a new (more conventional) camo. I first painted a base coat of red primer with Tamiya XF-9 Hull red and hightlights with XF-7 Red. Then, a network lines of XF-60 Dark Yellow was sprayed (I name this kind of camo the "turtle scale camo"). The road wheels are painted with German grey. The result is much more better.

Next comes the tracks, the tools and ... oh yes of course, the GUN !!!
